DE’LONGHI GROUP WEBSITES USES COOKIES TO PROVIDE THE USER WITH A PERSONALIZED ACCESS AND TO IMPROVE HIS/HER NAVIGATION.

Kenwood Limited, provides information regarding the cookies used on the website https://www.delonghi.com/en-gb, also pursuant to General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter, “GDPR”).

This document refers only to the Company’s website and not to any other third parties’ websites that may be consulted by the User through links. For more details related to the management of the Site, please refer to the De’Longhi Privacy Policy available at the following link.

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

The Company may automatically collect and process, while browsing the Site, some information through the installation of cookies in the client or in the User’s device, with the aim of providing and integrating the services and features offered by the Site (e.g. management of interactions with the User, improvement of user experience, sending of commercial communications in line with Users’ needs and expectations).

The Company may process the above information to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns or to keep track of User’s visits to the Site. For that purpose, the Company may install in the Site Third Parties’ cookies.

Below, the details regarding the different processing methods.

In this case the legal basis is represented bv Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f of GDPR, as this processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests. In doing so, we pursue the legitimate interest of personalizing the website for the user’s visit and facilitating the use of the website.

B. FUNCTIONAL COOKIES

Functional cookies are used to collect information on how the Site is used. The information collected is, for example, about which pages of the Site the User visits most frequently, whether or not the User receives error messages.

Among the functional cookies configured within the Site there are also Third Party cookies. In particular, the Company uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., to monitor the use the Site in aggregate form through cookies. The User may inhibit the use of Cookies by Google Analytics by modifying the settings of his/her browser (for further information please refer to the paragraph “Managing the Cookies used by the Site”). Overall, functional cookies does not allow the direct identification of the website visitor. Any personal data collected is appropriately anonymized and aggregated for the definition of statistics aimed at optimizing the site performance and the User experience.

C.  ADVERTISING COOKIES

The Site also makes use of advertising cookies that permit the analysis of User’s behavior for marketing purposes. These cookies are used to show the most relevant and interesting advertisements for the User, both inside and outside De’Longhi websites.

This category of cookies also includes cookies managed directly by Third Parties through which Third Parties can obtain information regarding the fact that you have visited the Site. Below listed the different types of Advertising cookies:
•    Advertising profiling cookies, which are used to deliver advertising based on the interests manifested through internet browsing. 
•    Retargeting cookies, used to send advertisements to Users who have previously visited this Site. 
•    Social media cookies, used to allow social media to be integrated into the Site so that you can immediately add Like or share a page or product on your preferred social media service.

MANAGE THE COOKIES USED BY THE SITE

The User may give such consent in three distinct ways:

  • by following the appropriate information indicated in the Cookie banner on the landing page of the Site (by clicking on the “Accept” button). In this way, the User gives the consent for all cookies, regardless of category.
  • by clicking on the “Manage preferences” button, accessible through the Cookie banner (or through the following link), the User is able to express his/her consent for a specific category of cookies. This consent is tracked on subsequent visits. The User will always be able to withdraw his or her consent by following the above instructions in detail:
