Lavender Latte

This floral hot coffee drink gets some added zing from the lime zest garnish.

Ingredients

  • Coffee beans – Panama Natural process Arabica
  • 200ml – cold skimmed milk
  • 10ml – lavender syrup
  • 30g – granulated sugar
  • 35ml – water
  • 1 tbsp lavender – to garnish
  • lime zest – to grate

Step 1

First, place a glass under the spout and prepare a ‘large Espresso’.

 

Step 2

Then, add the syrup, the sugar and water to a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 5-6 minutes or until the sugar has melted.

Step 3

Wait until cooled, and pour 10ml of the resulting syrup into the glass.

Step 4

Place the glass under the spout and prepare a hot ‘Milk’.

Step 5

Finally, grate some lime zest.
